Kelli Porges
Attorney Kelli Porges, named one of the Top Women Lawyers of 2018 by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, has been successfully defending clients at trial since 2003. In 2023, Attorney Porges was inducted into The American College of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only organization limited to no more than 1% of trial lawyers in each state. Members represent the highest quality advocates and trial lawyers. Attorney Porges began her career at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office before moving back to Massachusetts to practice criminal defense in her home state. She is a member of the prestigious murder list, defending the most serious allegations in Massachusetts state court. Attorney Porges has secured not guilty verdicts in multiple first degree murder, rape, attempted murder, child sex assault, gun and drug trials, including several high profile cases. She also represents clients facing Title IX investigations, SORB hearings, and other collateral matters. Attorney Porges is barred to practice across Massachusetts, including the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She left the public defenders office to start Iglehart & Porges after 14 years working in the superior and district courts across Massachusetts. She frequently lectures on homicide and sex assault cases and has published several chapters with MCLE, including trying sexual assault cases, defending homicide cases, and crime scene investigation. Attorney Porges graduated from Suffolk University Law School and the George Washington University.
Annie Iglehart
Attorney Annie Iglehart, named one of Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 as well as Top 10 Under 40 by NACDL, has successfully defended hundreds of clients in cases including gun charges, drug charges, child abuse, sexual assault, financial fraud, attempted murder and other felonies and misdemeanors. She is also a member of the Sexually Dangerous Persons (SDP) panel, defending people against lifetime civil commitments, and represents clients in other collateral matters such as parole hearings. Attorney Iglehart is barred to practice across Massachusetts, including the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to starting Iglehart & Porges, Attorney Iglehart worked as a staff public defender for six years in the superior and district courts in Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk. She was a member of the Massachusetts Sentencing Commission from 2015-2018 and was a longstanding member of the Boston Bar Association’s Criminal Law Steering Committee. She is a frequent lecturer with MCLE and has published chapters regarding sex assault cases, sentencing, and plea negotiations. Attorney Iglehart graduated from Boston College Law School and Smith College.
